2017 Ai Lao Black Tea
Ai Lao Mountain in Simao is the source of this exquisite black tea. Leaves grown at high elevation in one of the most remote areas of Yunnan province and then lightly oxidized produce a thick, clean liquor with tastes of dried fruit and a hint of astringency. Spring 2017 harvest.
Western method - Tea 4g Water ~300ml @ 95C Time 2-3 minutes
Gong Fu method - Tea 5-6g Water ~100ml @ 95C Time ~20 seconds
Preparation guidelines are just that. Your personal preference and curiosity should prevail once you become familiar with general preparation methods. This tea can be steeped multiple times, even when prepared in the western method. Add more time to each infusion to achieve your desired results.
