Ba Xian is the perfect balance between a floral heavy/light roast and a heavier roast like the Da Hong Pao, that retains only a whisper of the characteristic Dancong floral aromas. Observe the shift of balance between these tastes through each successive steep. This tea will easily handle 10 gongfu style steeps.
Song Lin and his family have been producing organically grown Dancong oolong for close to 80 years in Wudong Village, Chaozhou, the birthplace of Phoenix oolong. And they do fine a job of it!
○ Tea Leaf：4g
○ Water temperature：95℃ (203℉)
○ Water amount：100ml
○ Steep duration：Rinse and discard 1st infusion. 2nd ~10 sec. Steep for slightly longer for proceeding steeps.
