You've had Genmaicha before and you weren't that impressed, right? That's because it's usually made with lower grade second or third harvest Sencha. Our Genmaicha is made solely with Ichibancha, or first harvest Sencha, and is combined with roasted and puffed brown rice for a balanced fresh grassy/roasted flavour. Sure to satisfy.

As with most of our teas, this tea can be steeped several times. Second infusions are usually made with slightly hotter water and about half the time. Third or fourth infusions require longer times of 90+ seconds. Please remember, these are guidelines to get you started and you may find your preference is to adjust them.
