Regular price $ 11.00

Japanese oolong is a rare commodity indeed, so we were thrilled to find one of such high quality and one grown organically in balance with nature.   This is a tea that will seduce you with subtlety and a deeply satisfying balance of earthiness, chocolate/malty sweetness and just enough tannin to induce salivation.

Grown and produced by the Nakai family,  the current being the eighth generation to carry on the craft and tradition of solid, high quality tea.  About 40 years ago, the family returned to the balanced way of growing by abandoning chemical fertilizers and pesticides and instead, let nature do what it has always done...take care of itself.
