Sencha Ni is made by Marukyu Koyamaen, one of Japan's most respected and esteemed tea producers with a history spanning at least 300 years. With thirty-eight 1st place awards at two Japanese Tea Exhibitions, you can be assured you're getting the highest quality tea available.
Processed as a Koikuchi style Sencha, the fine needle-like, yet somewhat fragmented, leaves brew up a characteristically strong flavour. Typical fresh grassy notes, a mushroom meatiness and a satisfying umami/astringency balance.
